NCAA baseball regionals 2023: Bracket, seeds, schedule times for 2023 tournament

The road to Omaha is officially underway.

The 2023 NCAA Division I baseball tournament bracket was revealed Monday, as 64 teams vie to reach Charles Schwab Field Omaha (Nebraska) and win the Men’s College World Series.

The tournament will kick off Friday with the regional round, with the top 16 seeds of the tournament each hosting the double-elimination round. Those that emerge from the regional round will advance to the best-of-three super regional with a spot in Omaha on the line.

The No. 1 overall seed heading into the tournament will be Wake Forest, which dominated for much of the regular season with a 47-10 record. However, being the No. 1 team in the tournament hasn’t been a good omen recently; the last three No. 1 seeds failed to make the Men’s College World Series, and Miami (Florida) is the only No. 1 seed to win it all in 1999.

Here is everything you need to know for the 2023 NCAA Division I baseball tournament:

Wake Forest sophomore Tommy Hawke (24) reacts after pulling a home run ball back inside the field for an out after Clemson senior Riley Bertram (6) hit it to him, with Wake Forest junior Lucas Costello (0) reacts near him, during the bottom of the third inning at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in Clemson Thursday, March 30, 2023.
