A man — who wasn’t wearing a stitch of clothing — was arrested in Fresno after refusing to come out of the ceiling of a plasma donation center building where he was hiding.

Fresno police said officers were called Wednesday to the Grifols Biomat USA Plasma Center at Blackstone and Dakota after reports that someone was hiding inside the building’s walls or ceiling.

The unsettling discovery came when a patient donating plasma looked up and saw a pair of eyes staring back from the ceiling. The donor alerted staff, who immediately called 911.

Responding officers found a 30-year-old man wedged inside the ceiling. Police said he refused to come out and resisted officers before he was eventually taken into custody.

Despite repeated attempts by the officers to coax the man out of his hiding place, he refused and started kicking objects at them from the ceiling, per PD.

In his attempt to escape, police said the man threw what appeared to be a pipe at one of the cops, who was nearly struck in the head by the object.

“The male kept moving around within the ceiling/walls, and broke a pipe that flooded the building,” PD said.

When he finally emerged from his hiding location, police said he had no clothes on.

Officers said they deployed pepper balls on the man who they said was refusing to comply with the commands, per PD.

The naked man was finally taken into custody and then to a local hospital.

Other businesses in the strip mall were evacuated due to the pepper balls.

“During the incident, pepper spray migrated through a multi-tenant commercial building, prompting the evacuation of 41 people from several businesses, including Grifols Plasma Center, Joyride Insurance Company, Leslie’s Pool Supplies, Planet Fitness, and a nearby hair salon,” the Fresno Fire Department said.

The man is facing numerous charges stemming from the incident including felony vandalism, resisting arrest and assault with a deadly weapon.

It is unclear why he was inside the ceiling of the building.
