Katie Elizabeth’s mum had a side-splitting reaction to her daughter’s New Year’s Eve outfit, leaving TikTok viewers in fits of laughter.
This mum’s killer response to her daughter’s New Year’s Eve party outfit has left social media users giggling after she deemed it “not appropriate” as soon as she saw it.
US-based Katie Elizabeth, posting to TikTok under the username @kt.lizabeth, posed in the outfit in front of the mirror.
On top of the clip, which showed a cropped red top and ripped black jeans, she added text telling her audience to anticipate her mum’s reaction to the outfit.
However, her mum was deeply unimpressed.
Looking her daughter up and down once, Katie Elizabeth’s mum uttered the fatal words, “not appropriate”, then immediately turning to walk out of the room.
Katie Elizabeth, laughing nervously, was obviously shocked by her mum’s reaction.
She said: “Mum! You don’t like it?”
Her mum then asked if she planned to wear anything over it.
When met with a “No” from her daughter, she said: “No, I don’t (like it)”, before adding at the end that she was only being honest.
Viewers were in hysterics thanks to the mum’s bluntness.
One comment read: “I can’t with her reply”.
Some social media users were unimpressed with Katie Elizabeth and sympathised with her mum.
One man wrote: “That must be hard watching your kid grow up like that lmao.”
Most online responses to Katie Elizabeth’s video, however, were positive and complimented her outfit choice.

Another supportive fan simply wrote: “5 stars”.
