Mrs Hinch fans' 'go-to' stain remover costs £1 from Morrisons – it works 'on everything'

Mrs Hinch fans have shared their “go-to” stain remover for banishing stains from colourful clothes.

Rather than using traditional stain-removing sprays, fans of the cleaning sensation and influencer have recommended using a £1 spray from Morrisons called Elbow Grease.

Fern Priestley posted on the Facebook group, ‘Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips’: “Hi everyone. What’s your go-to stain remover for any colour clothes?

“I don’t mind whether it’s an in-wash or direct application.”

The post was inundated with solutions from Mrs Hinch fans but the most suggested cleaning tip was to use Elbow Grease spray.

Elbow Grease spray costs £1 from Morrisons, £1.20 from Tesco and £1.25 from Asda.

Shelley Mackie replied: “Elbow Grease spray. Spray on the stain and wash – works every time.”

Vanessa Farmer commented: “Elbow Grease. I use it on everything.”

Beverley Smith posted: “Elbow Grease and washing up liquid rubbed into the stain then into the washing machine with detergent.”

Elbow Grease®, according to the website, is a degreaser that can be used all around the home.

The site reads: “The ultimate power degreasing properties of this cleaner make it the only cleaner you will ever need.”

Other suggestions from Mrs Hinch fans included using Astonish Oxy Active Fabric Stain Remover and washing up liquid.

Rachael Woolmington said: “I use Astonish. I also use washing-up liquid depending on the stain!”

Caroline Jane Oakley commented: “Washing up liquid spread over the stain and let it settle and then wash as usual.”
