Morrisons has launched a new offer across its 344 cafes nationwide. The supermarket giant has announced an exciting 10% discount, which will see a certain group of customers save money every single day.

The supermarket chain is offering the discount to all Blue Light Card holders, and it’s available all day, every day with no minimum spend. Blue Light Card holders can dig into an array of meals from Fish & Chips and Sausage & Mash to Morrisons’ Big Breakfast for 10%. The discount is also available for lighter bites such as the popular Three Cheese Toastie.

Morrisons says it’s the only major supermarket to roll out this change exclusively for Blue Light customers, pointing out that other supermarkets typically offer discounts on gift card purchases.

Eligible customers just need to present a valid Blue Light Card at the cafe till to get the discount.

The best part is that the offer has already kicked off with the offer beginning yesterday, August 11 across Morrisons 344 cafes longside Morrisons’ Kids Eat Free deal.

Families can claim a free meal and drink for one child aged 16 or under when they buy an adult main meal costing £5 from The Breakfasts or The Classics.

Earlier this year the chain launched ‘Club 60’, which provides exclusive deals in Morrisons’ Cafes to the over 60s in a bid to help customer’s pensions go further.

The deal means that anyone aged 60 and over can now enjoy a small breakfast at any time of the day for just £6, giving Club 60 members a saving of up to £2.50

Morrisons says its cafes serve as local hubs in the community and with almost half (49%) of older people admitting to cutting back on meeting friends due to financial pressures, its new Club 60 aims to offer support and provide a social community space with hearty food at affordable prices.

To get access to the Club 60 deals, eligible customers simply need to let a Morrisons Café colleague know that they’re over 60 when buying the new meal offers.
