Monster Hunter Wilds on PS5 is only £37 thanks to sneaky checkout trick

Monster Hunter Wilds is now out – and plenty of us are absolutely waiting to get our teeth into it and slay some of the most fearsome monsters we’ve ever experienced. The game released on Friday, February 28th, and if you are still waiting to get your hands on the game, we have a sneaky trick to get it for one of the cheapest prices around.

Our friends over at the Daily Mirror previewed the game back at the start of February, and since then, there have been some great reviews. Scores have been flying high on IGN and Eurogamer – and if you’re a franchise fan, you would be silly not to jump on the game.

You’ll be able to enjoy crafting, gathering and exploring all the new monsters Capcom has teased us during the beta – and ones we have yet to see. There are new monsters, old classics and new mechanics to check out – so you won’t want to miss it.

But if you have yet to buy the game, we have a sneaky way that you can get the game for £37. Yes, you can get it that cheap on PS5. But how on earth do you even get it for that cheap?

Thanks to TopCashback, you can save a good chunk of the price by signing up for them and saving additional cash. If you’re a new Argos and new TopCashback customer, you’ll pay £37.64 after cashback, or £38.54 if you’ve previously shopped with Argos.

When you compare that to the likes of Amazon, TheGameCollection and other stores, the minimum you’ll pay is £54 so this is well worth jumping on if you want to get the game. But how on earth do you do it and how does it work? Don’t worry because we have an easy step-by-step guide for you below.

How to get Monster Hunter Wilds for less than £40 on Argos

  • To claim the new member bonus, new members of TopCashback need to sign up via this link
  • Search for Argos and click ‘Get Cashback Now’
  • Shop for Monster Hunter Wilds on Argos and checkout as usual
  • Cashback will then track and appear in your TopCashback account within seven working days of your purchase

And voila! You’ll get the cashback into your account and be able to enjoy the game without paying full price.

Despite its high scores, the game has received some feedback from reviewers. Many have criticised it for being “too streamlined” and too easy in some cases, which might put off some veterans of the series.

But if you want to shop elsewhere for some great PS5 games, you’ll definitely want to check out Amazon. Horror fans can pick up Silent Hill 2 for less than £40 thanks to a new Amazon deal. Elsewhere if you’re on PC, CDKeys is selling the game for less than £45.
