This is the dramatic moment a 71-year-old gran was launched 10ft into the air and left dangling upside down after being caught on store shutters.
Incredible footage caught Anne Hughes waiting outside a supermarket in South Wales on Monday morning around 8am. However, her morning shop didn’t go as smoothly as she had hoped. CCTV footage reveals as the shop shutters began to open, poor Anne was swept off her feet and left desperately trying to grab her shopping trolley.
The bottom of her winter coat appears to have gotten caught in the Best One supermarket shutters in Tonteg, causing her to dangle upside down before a worker scrambled to her rescue.
Best One bosses have confirmed that no one was harmed in the incident.
They joked: “Don’t hang about like Ann, come down to best one to get the best deals! The only thing going up in this shop is our staff, not the prices!”
