The large search underway for a missing 38-year-old mother has entered its third day, with police scouring waterways and woodland after admitting they are becoming “increasingly concerned” for her welfare.
Cheshire woman Rachel Booth vanished in the early hours of Saturday, after going on a run that took her miles from home. In the time since, investigators have deployed sniffer dogs and underwater police search teams while “following a number of inquiries” to track down the mother of three.
Family members last saw Rachel leaving the Barnton area of Northwich before she headed out on a run in the early hours. At around 3.50 am, she walked into a petrol garage five miles from her home, where she bought some wine and milk.
The most recent CCTV footage shows the mum wearing a black running top, leggings, and white trainers.
