Metallica just announced their eight-concert ‘Life Burns Faster’ residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere that will run all through the month of October.
Their likely earth-shaking concerts are scheduled to take place on:

As is standard with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group, they will put on “no repeat weekends” where they vow that no songs from their Thursday shows make the Saturday set list and vice versa.
“This residency gives us another chance to reinvent how we interact with our fans in a live setting,” drummer Lars Ulrich shared in a statement.
“We are beyond excited to share this with the world in six months time, and way f—in’ psyched to go next-level!”
Prior to this Sin City stint, Metallica will play a number of “no repeat weekends” in Germany, Italy and Great Britain as part of their ongoing ‘M72 World Tour.’
At past shows on the international jaunt, James Hetfield and co. would play classics like “Master of Puppets,” “Sad But True,” “Nothing Else Matters” and “Seek and Destroy” on night one while saving biggies “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” “Ride the Lightning,” “One” and “Enter Sandman” for night two, according to Set List FM.
“…they pulled out all the stops between the various flashing screens and pyrotechnic elements in their performance,” 303 Magazine wrote in a review of their June 2025 “night one” concert in Denver.

The thrumming, high-velocity record quickly sets the tone with the non-stop thrill ride title track and refuses to let up throughout its healthy 77-minute runtime.
