The Met Office has issued a 15-hour weather warning for snow and ice on Monday that covers eight different cities.
The updated ‘yellow’ alert was issued this morning (Sunday, November 17). It says: “An area of snow may bring disruption to a central swathe of the UK during Monday night and Tuesday morning.”
The warning covers the East and west Midlands, North East and North West England, Yorkshire and Humber, parts of North Wales and the Scottish borders. The ten cities affected are Manchester, Liverpool, Derby, Nottingham, Durham, Newcastle, Sunderland, Wrexham, Hull and York.
