Met Office issues yellow weather warning as Britain to be battered by downpours


The Met Office has issued three new weather warnings for snow, wind and rain.

The warnings are for Wednesday, December 27, and comes after three warnings today, December 24.

The wind warning will last from 3am to 6pm and stretches from Cornwall to Kent on the south coast of England.

The rain warning will last from 12am to 3pm and covers all of Wales and from Cornwall to the Lake District on the west coast of England.

The snow and rain warning will last from 6am to 12am and covers from Fraserberg to Berwick-upon-Tweed on the east coast of Scotland.
