The Met Office issued another yellow weather warning for ice in parts of Wales overnight until 10am this morning as temperatures plummeted.
The news comes while two other yellow warnings were in place for ice and snow and ice across Northern Ireland, parts of northwest England and northern Scotland.
The Met Office said: ” Wintry showers are expected to affect parts of north and west Wales at times on Thursday night. Whilst any snow is likely to be confined upwards of 200 metres and produce accumulations of no more than 1-2 cm in a few places, rain and sleet at low levels will leave surfaces wet and allow ice to form where untreated.”
From noon on Saturday, the majority of England is under a yellow warning for snow and ice warning until Sunday at midnight.
