Princess Beatrice was among the members of the Royal Family who spent Christmas at Sandringham, the Royal’s Norfolk residence. She was joined by her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, young stepson Wolfie and daughter Sienna.
While Sienna remained at Sandringham due to her young age, the others were photographed heading to the Christmas Day service at the estate’s church alongside the King and Queen, and the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Beatrice’s appearance at the Royal Christmas came as something of a surprise, as she was originally thought to have planned to spend the festive period overseas with her in-laws.
However, it’s believed that the Princess, who is currently expecting her second child, was warned against travelling due to her pregnancy.
Joining her relatives at Sandringham, Beatrice’s choice of clothing held some special significance, as she was snapped wearing a stylish tan coat from the Net-a-Porter for The King’s Foundation collection.
She paired the coat with a modest blank dress and knee-high boots. To finish off her look, Beatrice accessorised with black gloves, a green Alice band, and gold earrings.
The choice of her green hair accessory was in keeping with Queen Camilla and Princess Kate’s decision to wear matching ‘festive green’ during the Royal Family’s Christmas Day walk.
It comes just over a month after Beatrice paid a visit to The King’s Foundation’s Future Textiles exhibition at the Garrison Chapel, where the Modern Artisan collection, which was created alongside luxury retailer Net-a-Porter, was on display.
The Future Textiles was launched by King Charles back in 2014, the projected was created with the aim of addressing and solving a skills gap within the UK fashion and textiles industry through education and training.
In the ten years since, the King’s Foundation reports that over 7,000 people have benefitted from the Future Textiles programme, which now has sites across the country, including Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Highgrove Gardens in Gloucestershire, and Trinity Buoy Wharf in London.
While Beatrice joined her Royal relatives for Christmas, her sister, Princess Eugenie, and their parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, were absent from the Sandringham festivities.
