Royal fans have been left stunned today after Princess Kate stepped out with US First Lady Melania Trump for an engagement. On the last day of the US state visit on Thursday, Melania joined The Princess of Wales in Frogmore Gardens for an activity with the scouts.
As joint President of the Scouts since 2020, Kate looked delighted to take part in the engagement with the Scouts’ Squirrels programme, alongside Chief Scout Dwayne Fields. Both Kate and Melania were introduced to two groups of children – known as Squirrels in Scouts – who took part in activities to achieve their ‘Go Wild’ badge.
These were given out by Kate and Melania, who also spent time joining in activities with the children, which included playing with a parachute.
As photographs and videos of the special engagement were shared online, royal fans were left stunned by just how relaxed the US First Lady looked with Princess Kate today.
One royal fan on X said: “I’ve never seen Melania Trump look so natural and relaxed. Our Princess brings out the best in everyone.”
Another said: “Lovely to see Melania looking relaxed and having a good time alongside Princess Catherine.”
