Melania Trump’s inner circle has shed light on the enigmatic Barron, as the family settles into their second stint in the White House.
At 18 years old, Barron has been an imposing figure next to his parents, Donald and Melania Trump, at recent campaign events. Towering at 6ft 7in, he’s caught the attention of many viewers.
Despite this, he maintains a “low profile,” steering clear of the luxurious lifestyle his family’s fortune could afford him , reports the Irish Star.
According to TMZ reports that at New York University, Barron is practically invisible, preferring to socialise with friends by playing video games.
Melania’s personal photographer, Regine Mahaux, who documents the First Lady’s global travels, observes that Melania and Barron are a “good team” in their support of President Trump.

Speaking to Hello! magazine, Regine remarked: “Barron is happy and proud and she’s really proud of him. The connection there is very special. I’m so happy about what Barron has become.”
When Donald lost to Joe Biden in 2020, Melania decided to step back from the spotlight, her close friend revealed. It meant she could focus on being a wife to the politician and a mother to her teenage son.
She has since returned to the public eye and released a best-selling memoir, Melania, which reflects on her childhood in Slovenia and her journey to First Lady. In her book, she discusses Barron and his childhood in the spotlight.
In it, she reflects on Barron’s upbringing under the media glare. Melania lauded her son Barron for his “confidence and poise”.

She says he displays a maturity beyond his years and has a “thirst for knowledge” as well as a “range of hobbies”.
Reminiscing about a moment in 2020, she writes: “As Barron approached his fourteenth birthday, I was amazed at the remarkable young man he had become.
“Barron possesses a rare combination of intelligence, charm, and diligence. He had remained resolute in his character and values even through the whirlwind of changes and challenges that accompanied his father’s election and presidency.”
Tailor Nathan Pearce, who made a suit for the President’s son, describes Barron as “super-bright” and “fascinating to talk to”. He believes the youngster is well ahead of his years in terms of experience, knowledge, and history.

Speaking to the New York Post, he added: “You know what is another word I would say about [Barron]? Hospitable. He is down-to-earth, nice as can be and hospitable. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him over the last one or two years.”
Social media users have recently speculated that Barron could also be thrifty after he was seen with an $88 backpack. One user suggested it could make him appear “more approachable”.
The TikTok channel Hot Star Stories clarified: “Barron lived a life of luxury from childhood. He was raised by Melania, and had a life of ease and plenty since he was a child. However, no one would believe that under Trump’s guidance, Barron is actually very thrifty in private.”

The video further explained: “Since he entered college, he has been carrying an $88 black school bag, which makes Barron look more like an ordinary student. It enables him to keep a low profile, be more approachable in public, and participate in activities comfortably.”
“In addition, since Trump became President, he is opposed to extravagance and waste and has even donated his own money to charity at times. In order to follow in Trump’s footsteps, Barron has always kept a low profile.”
“Even at the age of 18, he has never bought luxury goods. To some extent, this can also better shape Barron’s positive image, prepare him for being the heir in the future and play a positive role in the overall image of the Trump family.”
