Melania Trump says Barron is too much of a ‘ladies’ man’ | US | News

Melania Trump has voiced her conviction that her son Barron cannot lead the life of an ordinary student owing to his surge in popularity amongst female fans, triggered by his presence at the inauguration.

The President’s youngest offspring, Barron, 19, was met with roars of approval as he rose and gestured during the inaugural procession within Capital One Arena in Washington, DC, in January 2025.

Barron appeared to relish the spotlight, returning waves and even copying his father’s trademark air punch with an elevated right fist. The teenager also placed his right hand to his ear, apparently absorbing the excited clamour from the audience. The revelation comes soon after Donald Trump gave bizarre a reason for son Barron’s massive height :’He only ate HER food’.

However, Barron has now been absent from his father Donald’s side for ‘months’ and avoids public appearances whilst focusing on his second year at university.

Trump had earlier quipped: “I have a very tall son named Barron, has anyone ever heard of him?”, reports the Mirror US.

Currently embarking on his sophomore year studying business at New York University, Barron is multilingual, conversing in both English and Slovene, his mother’s mother tongue. Whilst perpetually accompanied by Secret Service protection, sources indicate that Barron is succeeding in maintaining a low profile despite the international attention upon him.

“We’re not hearing anything bad about him, which suggests he’s keeping his head down,” a student allegedly informed The Mail on Sunday. Certain students have confessed to finding him “attractive”, though he remains rarely visible across campus.

An insider revealed to People in December: “He’s a ladies’ man for sure. He’s really popular with the ladies. He’s tall and handsome. A lot of people seem to think he’s pretty attractive. Yes, even liberal people like him.”

Despite the attention, Barron remains conscious of his privileged position. “He loves his classes and his professors,” Melania revealed in a recent interview.

“He’s doing well, he’s thriving and he’s enjoying being in New York City again. He’s very strong and he knows that he’s in a different position than other children.”

Trump previously stated: “He’s always been a very good student – he’s smart.”

Melania previously stated: “I’m very proud of [Barron] about his knowledge, about politics, and giving advice to his father. [Barron] knows nowadays the younger generation, they don’t sit in front of TV anymore.

“They are all on the tablets, they’re on the phones and all of these podcasts and streamers.

“He was very vocal, and he gave advice to his father. And it was incredible how he brought in success, because he knew exactly who his father needed to contact and to talk to.”
