Megyn Kelly went scorched earth on Gov. Kathy Hochul and New York Attorney General Letitia James, after James was appointed by the Dem leader to take over the “Cornell 7” gang rape probe.
The conservative podcaster accused Hochul of fixing the high-profile case by putting the “rabid, fire-breathing hack” AG in charge.
“[Hochul] has now appointed someone even more abhorrent and hateful than she is — Letitia James — as special prosecutor in this case,” Kelly raged on her Friday show on Sirius XM.
“And what that means is these boys are f’d!”
Kelly, 55, highlighted a Facebook post from James last week expressing sympathy for the alleged victim, identified only as Jane Doe, at the center of the case, calling the suspected crimes “horrific and unacceptable,” and adding, “We stand with you.”
The journalist claimed the post showed James had already “chosen a side” ahead of her investigation into the alleged gang-rape at the Chi Phi fraternity house in October 2024.
“A prosecutor’s obligation is to seek justice, not to choose one side or the other,” the former Fox News and NBC political commentator fumed.
She also shared a clip showing James refusing to answer a journalist’s question about her Facebook post during Hochul’s Friday press conference.
“This is so f–ked up! That’s the woman who is now going to decide whether charges are brought against the Cornell 7,” Kelly seethed after showing the clip.
“The fix is in, these guys are f’d,” she added.
Kelly downplayed the case – which has exploded into the national spotlight after Jane Doe filed a civil suit against the seven fraternity brothers last month – arguing that the male students shouldn’t have to go to prison for engaging in “a night of debauchery.”
“I am very worried for them. I am seriously concerned for these seven young men, who appear to have engaged in a night of debauchery, [and some] sent out — in the case of one or two of them — f—king stupid, offensive text messages,” she said.
“Hello! Spend a day on X. I challenge you not to find multiple of those. And now [they] are about to stare down the possibility of decades in prison, because of those two women,” Kelly added.
Here’s the latest on the ‘Cornell 7’ frat probe:
Friday’s outburst was not Kelly’s first take on the “Cornell 7” case. Earlier in the week, she attacked celebrities for speaking out without knowing all the facts.
On Wednesday, she hit out at “Law & Order: SVU” star Mariska Hargitay after the actress reshared posts about the case on social media.
“Yes, I think we should ruin the futures of adult men who drug and gang-rape a woman,” read one of the posts Hargitay shared, triggering Kelly’s ire.
“She just hosted the Emmys with her daughter, who’s 15 and had her breasts toppling out of her dress,” Kelly said.
“Now she wants to lecture us on what should happen in a case like this!”
Kelly also dismissed the idea that there was a cultural problem with rape and sexual assault on American college campuses, after the Cornell case sparked a broader debate about Greek Life and fraternities.
“The notion that an Ivy League university or any university in America — its instincts would be to go easy on the guys and dismiss the word of the woman as a nothing … is just so absurd,” she said.
Kelly also said she would love to speak to the Jane Doe in the Cornell case, agreeing that the events of the night in October 2024 were clearly “traumatic” for her.
“I think it’s extremely traumatic because I think she consented. And I’m sure she’s having to live with the shame and awfulness of that, of being treated like a piece of meat who didn’t matter, who’s basically just a f–kbuddy by these guys at this fraternity,” Kelly said.
“I don’t blame her for being traumatized. I bet she really is. But that doesn’t mean she gets praised as a national hero, folks,” she added.
