Meghan Markle’s new eight-part series was released on Netflix one week ago today – with the show having received many brutal reviews. Speaking to the Mirror, PR expert and GoUp’S CEO Edward Coram-James has suggested that there are two options that Meghan, 43, can choose from to help recover from the brutal backlash.
He told the publication: “On With Love, Meghan, the Duchess [of Sussex] is glowing, surrounded by seemingly close friends and family, in stunning Montecito, which she calls home. She seems happy – it’s her passion project – she’s experimenting and is lucky enough to have the resources and platform to share her passion.
“Some people have compared her to Brooklyn Beckham, not knowing his forte, but experimenting with everything from cooking to photography, and I don’t think this is a bad thing at all.”
He added: “Perhaps she simply won’t care about the reviews and expected bad feedback if she has any self-awareness.”
Speaking of what the Duchess of Sussex could do amid the reviews, he suggeted: “It might be best to simply ignore them and continue doing what she does best: making headlines as she continues her journey post-royal life.”
Recently speaking to the Express, amid the news that a second series of With Love, Meghan, will be released, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams suggested some things she could do differently in season two.
Although reports suggest that filming for the second season is underway, he said that she should get genuine A-listers like Serena Williams or even Oprah Winfrey to join her, have Prince Harry play a more prominent role and include her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in the show. Mr Fitzwiliams also suggested that Meghan should stop her guests from “gushing” over her.
Brooklyn Beckham – the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham – has admitted that he snubbed Meghan’s new Netflix series in a recent four word confession.
Speaking to Express.co.uk and other news outlets during Formula E’s Evo Sessions at Miami International Autodrome this week, the 26-year-old star admitted: “I haven’t watched it.”
He added that he typically only watches shows, if he is really into them, on the weekend, before adding, “If I’m not working”.
