Meghan Markle is continuing to promote her As Ever wine on Instagram after not selling out at the launch almost two weeks ago. The Duchess of Sussex launched the 2024 Napa Valley rosé on August 5 as part of her As Ever brand range.
This came just a month after the 2023 vintage of the wine launched and sold out on July 1. However, if Meghan expected her second wine launch to sell out just as quickly, she will have been disappointed.
This is because the wine is still available to buy almost two weeks after the launch, resulting in Meghan continuing to promote the wine on As Ever’s Instagram account.
Just yesterday, the Duchess posted a quick video of As Ever wine being poured into a glass.
The caption read: “Cheers to summer’s final sips. Fill your glass with our founder’s favourite pour, available for a limited time.”
The wine is currently available to buy at £22 a bottle, with no international shipping outside the US.
Customers also have to buy the wine, which is described as “delicately balanced, with soft notes of stone fruit”, in batches of three, six, or twelve.
While some may think the wine still being available to buy is a sign of less success, one expert told Express.co.uk that it instead simply shows that the brand has sorted its stock issues.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, brand and culture expert Nick Ede said: “I think it’s a good thing that the new wine drop hasn’t sold out yet – it shows that they have solved the problem with stock issues – no one wants to come and buy something that’s constantly sold out!
“This shows that the team is committed to increasing the amount of product they have on sale and allows fans and consumers to purchase the product.”
