While promoting her new show, With Love, Meghan and As Ever brand on the Drew Barrymore show earlier this month, the duchess said that her children’s accents are “very American”, but they still use certain words in a British accent.
Ms Barrymore asked the Duchess: “What’s your favourite thing that you see in your kids that you go, ‘Oh, that’s their dad’ ?”
Meghan replied: “Oh, some of the words that they still say with a British accent.
“So they’ll say, ‘Zebra,’ and what else do they say? They have these little moments where it comes out.
“They have very American accents, but they say words that are just like him, and I think it’s adorable. Zebra is a good one.”
It comes hours before the Duchess uploaded a new photo of both Archie and Lilibet in their garden, as well as her new online shop at ShopMy.
Meghan took to her Instagram stories to post a ShopMy link featuring a collection of clothes and accessories, with the message: “Many of you have asked, so here you go! A little shopping to start the week. More to come”.
Minutes earlier, the duchess posted a rare photograph of herself with her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, both on her and her brand As Ever’s Instagram pages.
The picture showed five-year-old Archie cuddling his mother’s leg as she placed her arm around him, while also carrying three-year-old Lili in her arms as the youngster held a wicker basket in her hand in the garden setting.
