Meghan Markle’s co-star has lifted the lid on Prince Harry’s secret skill and role in his wife’s new cooking show.
The Duchess of Sussex appeared in a new trailer last week for her long-awaited Netflix show With Love, Meghan, which is set to hit the screens on January 15.
Meghan was seen smiling in the variety of clips as she cooked and hosted famous celebrity friends.
And although Harry and Meghan appear to be going their separate ways when it comes to their work ventures, the Duke of Sussex still made an all but brief appearance in the show’s trailer where he can be seen hugging his wife.
However, Meghan’s close pal, Mindy Kaling, has hinted Harry may be more involved than what meets the eye.
Mindy, who also makes appearances, suggested that the duke was involved in the filming and is even talented in the kitchen.
She said: “Harry was there, but he didn’t cook for me, but I heard he’s actually a pretty good cook. He knows his way around the kitchen.”
Mindy added that Meghan had texted her while she was on maternity leave, inviting her to Montecito, where she and Prince Harry live.
She said: “I think of myself as kind of an okay cook and she unsurprisingly blew me out of the water.
“The thing about her recipes is they’re really accessible. She has a garden from scratch, which I could never do, and chickens which would probably all die if I tried to take care of them, but other than that, I would say it’s very accessible.”
However, one royal commentator has noted this “super sickly sweet” cookery show must be a hit otherwise it will be “embarrassing” for the Duchess.
Speaking on TalkTv, Lettice Bromovsky, journalist and commentator from MailOnline called the new show “very American” adding that Netflix could cancel their deal with the couple if it fails to be a success.
