Meghan Markle is preparing for a major move that will coincide with what would have been Prince Harry’s late mother Diana, Princess of Wales’ birthday next week. The late royal, who died aged 36 in August 1997, would have been marking her 64th birthday on July 1.
Last week, Meghan, 43, surprised fans with the news that her Napa Valley Rosé will go on sale on Tuesday, July 1. The exciting announcement, which was shared via the official As Ever Instagram account, came with a sun-drenched image of a bottle of the wine elegantly styled poolside, flanked by two glasses and ripe apricots.
The caption of Meghan’s As Ever post read: “Cheers, dears! Wishing you a wonderful weekend! You’ve certainly made ours wonderful. We sold out…again!” – before revealing that fans wil have chance to order on “July 1st at 8 a.m. PT.”
Meghan has previously spoken about her late mother-in-law, describing her as “someone I wish I’d had the chance to know”.
While Meghan didn’t mention the late royal in her post, fans appeared to note a significance in the date of her next launch.
Discussing her brand previously on her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, Meghan said that she doesn’t want to take the common approach of a “scarcity drop”.
She added: “I want to move away from that scarcity mentality… I don’t want you to eat that jam once every six months. I want that to be on your shelf all the time.”
Meghan released her second seasonal drop of As Ever products on Friday, months after her sell-out launch in early April.
Meghan’s apricot spread in keepsake packaging and organic honey sold out in the first 10 minutes of the collection going live.
It is unknown how much stock was available.
