Meghan Markle's friend slams royal 'bubble' and reveals her desire to return to acting

Meghan Markle’s friend and Suits co-star has revealed he is “bothered” that the royal “bubble” sparked the end of her acting career.

Wendell Pierce, known for his role alongside Meghan Markle in Suits made the revelation in a recent interview.

Pierce, who portrayed the father of Markle’s character Rachel Zane for seven seasons, reminisced about their time working together and discussed Markle’s love for acting.

He said: “The one thing that bothers me the most right now for Meghan is the fact that I know she would love to act again.”

Meghan left Suits upon her marriage to the Royal Family in 2018 and subsequently retired from acting.

According to People, Pierce held a deep affection for Meghan both as a friend and as an actress.

He added: “She’s [Meghan] is wonderful. She’s wonderful as both. She’s the nicest person ever.”

Pierce also revealed his final words to Meghan the last time they worked together.

Pierce said: “It was the last night of working and I said, ‘Meghan, your life is going to change, and you’re going to be in a bubble, but just always remember, no matter what, I’m your friend, you have lots of friends.

“We’re always thinking about you, we’ll always be there for you. And you know, no matter where you are, always know you have a friend in me’.”

This comes after rumours suggesting Meghan might make a comeback to the show.
