Meghan Markle's 'clever' 15-word dig at Royal Family in final episode of Archewell podcast

Meghan Markle cleverly hinted at the restrictions she faced as a member of the Royal Family during her Archetypes podcast.

The Duchess of Sussex subtly took a swipe at the Royals while discussing her experiences on the Spotify series, which only ran for one season.

In the final episode, Meghan reflected on her journey and what she had learned from herself and her guests, including Serena Williams, Paris Hilton, and Mariah Carey.

In the November episode, Meghan said: “I feel seen. I had never considered that in using my voice that I would feel seen, but I do.”

She went on to discuss labels, stereotypes, and the roles others may try to force upon you, sharing a quote from Greek poet Dinos Christianopoulos: “What didn’t you do to bury me/but you forgot that I was a seed.”

Following this, she will also create a new series, which doesn’t have a name yet. Meghan said when announcing the news: “I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting.

“Being able to support a female founded company with a roster of thought provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024.

“Our plan to re-release Archetypes so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast are well in the works. I’m so eager to be able to share it soon, and am overjoyed to be joining the Lemonada family.”
