Meghan Markle could release her own memoir – much like Jada Pinkett Smith – that could help her “monetise her truth”, it has been suggested.

Speaking on Talk TV, royal expert Kinsey Schofield appeared to compare Meghan to Jada, who previously shared in a book that she had been separated from actor Will Smith for seven years after fans believed the pair were still together, saying that the former working royal “reminds her a lot” of Jada.

Comparing the two, the expert said: “A part of me wonders if, similar to Jada Pinkett Smith, Meghan’s going to wait to reveal her truth until she finds a way to monetise it.

“Jada did that with her book, and Meghan has technically already done that with with the Netflix series.”

Discussing Meghan, host Kevin O’Sullivan said that Meghan appears to enjoy the limelight “no matter what the headlines are”.

Speculation over what Meghan is likely to do next – as well as whether she would release her own memoir – has grown for some time.

One insider claimed that the Duchess of Sussex, who is mum to Archie, five, and three-year-old Lilibet, could be waiting for the right moment to release her own tell-all book.

A source previously told Closer Online: “The word in publishing circles is that everyone’s mad to land Meghan’s memoirs and the numbers being thrown around are ridiculously high.

“We’re talking tens of millions for her authorised biography – it’s going to get to the point where she can’t say no. And love her or hate her, there’s no denying that she has an insight into the royals that no one else can share.”

They added: “She’s strategically chosen to hold off for the sake of peace, but she absolutely wants to share her truth – and why shouldn’t she?”

Prince Harry, although he previously released his own memoir Spare last year, released the paperback version of his tell-all last week.

Previously only available in hardback and audio, the paperback was released in the UK last Thursday – just 24 hours after it was released in America.
