Meghan Markle won't give 'too much detail' about Archie and Lilibet in her new podcast

Meghan Markle may touch upon her experience of motherhood, but may be reluctant to divulge details on her’s and Prince Harry’s two children. The Duchess of Sussex is mother to four-year-old Prince Archie and two-year-old Princess Lilibet.

Since their births in 2019 and 2021, the former working royal has kept details about her children to a minimum – only rarely giving fans an insight into her life as a mother-of-two.

With the recent news that Meghan is set to release another podcast series, this time under her new deal with Lemonada Media, many have speculated over what she could discuss – with some fans likely hoping to hear a little more about her experience of motherhood.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, Ashley Rudd from Moda PR believes that she will likely not “go into too much detail” about Archie and Lilibet.

Mr Rudd said: “Discussing motherhood could be a compelling and engaging topic for Meghan Markle’s podcast.

“Drawing in an audience eager to hear her unique perspective and insights on this universal aspect of life however knowing how protective of her children she is, I highly doubt she will go into too much detail [about her children].”

She added: “[This is] especially with her the already intense intrigue the high-profile celebrity status and a member of the British Royal Family has brought her.”

Altough she may keep details to a minimum, Meghan did speak of her children on her first podcast, Archetypes.

In one episode of Archetypes – where she broke down the stereotype of ‘bimbo’ – Meghan said that she hoped her daughter will one day strive to for intelligence and authenticity.

Speaking to her guests Paris Hilton and Iliza Shlesinger, Meghan said: “…I want my Lili to want to be educated, and want to be smart, and to pride herself on those things.”

Meghan also shared some sweet updates on the podcast – which was released in 2022 – adding that Lilibet had “just started walking”.

She also added that, along with her then-three-year-old son Archie, she was “in the thick of it – toddling”.

Earlier this month, Harry also gave a sweet update on Archie and Lilibet during an interview with Good Morning America (GMA)

During the interview, which took place during the couple’s visit to Canada for the one-year countdown event for the 2025 Invictus Games, Harry said that his children are doing “great” and are “growing up very, very fast”.

Harry also sweetly said that he is “grateful” to be a father.
