Meghan Markle may be considering a new career move after the release of season two of her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, last week. While the Duchess of Sussex, 44, may have been an actress before marrying Prince Harry in 2017, she was also well-known for having her own lifestyle blog.
The blog, called The Tig, was a way for the Duchess to communicate her love of certain things in life, including food, cooking and hosting. While Meghan has this year suggested that her Netflix show and her brand As Ever is a sort of return to the passions that existed in her long ago blog, she has now hinted that a full return could be on the cards.
This comes after fears that her Netflix show may be underperforming, which halts chances of the show being renewed for a third season.
As reported by Hello!, Meghan’s hint about a potential return to the blogging lifestyle was made on Instagram, with the mum-of-two having shared a series of photographs this week from behind the scenes of her Netflix show.
One photograph was a playlist that Meghan and the Netflix crew enjoyed listening to, with one song on the list – The Frim Fram Sauce by Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald – believed to be an ode to Meghan’s former blog.
As reported by Hello!, the magazine believes the song could be a reference to the parent company by the same name that managed Meghan’s blog from 2014 until 2017.
This has led to some speculation as to whether it could be a sign that Meghan may be considering a return to her blogging days – something the duchess herself has not addressed.
If she were to relaunch The Tig, this would be the first time since 2017, when she closed the blog to pursue her relationship with Prince Harry.
While she was very fond of the blog and the community she had built up, Meghan revealed earlier this year that she doesn’t regret leaving it behind.
Talking to People magazine previously, the duchess said: “Well, I loved The Tig, but I certainly love my husband more. So that was a choice I made at the time, and I wouldn’t change that for a second.”
It has not yet been confirmed whether her Netflix show will return for a third series.
