Meghan Markle reached an impressive new milestone earlier this week – just days after her latest As Ever launch. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, has now reached four million followers on Instagram, a significant figure considering she set up her account just seven months ago.
While Meghan – who quit royal life alongside her husband Prince Harry in 2020 and moved to America – has not posted about the news herself, many of her fans have noticed the duchess’ new milestone, which comes just days after she posted some pictures to mark July 4 in America. This included pictures of cupcakes the duchess had made with Harry and their two children Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, at their Montecito home.
Meghan also posted a throwback photograph to her second ever date with Harry, 40, which took place on July 4, 2016, revealing that he had brought her a little cupcake to celebrate America’s Independence Day.
Since reaching four million Instagram followers earlier this week, Meghan’s fans have been quick to praise the duchess on X.
One fan wrote: “Congratulations to Meghan Sussex.”
A second said: “4M and counting. Let’s go.”
Someone else wrote: “Yayyyy.”
Meghan’s latest social media milestone comes as the Royal Family united for the French state visit held at Windsor Castle on Tuesday.
The King, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Kate were among the senior royals to spend time with French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte as they were welcomed to the UK and Windsor Castle.
A magnificent state banquet was also held on Tuesday to mark the special occasion.
