Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s ‘confused strategy’ torn apart | Royal | News

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been criticised by a royal expert for having a “confused strategy”. Since quitting royal life in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been trying to carve out their own paths, which has led to various deals, including partnerships with Netflix, and previously Spotify.

Through some of these deals, Meghan, 44, and Harry, 40, have been openly critical about royal life, which has led to some fractured relationships with the prince’s relatives. However, with Harry now wanting reconciliation, news commentator Samara Gill has criticised the Duke of Sussex and said he needs to decide if he wants to be in the Firm or not, especially following the recent “peace summit” between the prince and King Charles.

She then said that Meghan and Harry’s strategy is “confused”, issuing one brutal six-word verdict: “I don’t see it going anywhere.”

Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, she said: “They need to choose. I just don’t agree with this hybrid situation.

“They’re like typical millennial royals who want to do, like, gig economy jobs in the Royal Family or something.

“I don’t exactly know what their whole plan is. It’s a very confused strategy.

“And I do agree that they’ve got a better team who’s clearly trying to fashion something out of this, but I just think it’s a very confused, dilapidated thing and I don’t see it going anywhere.”

The comments come just weeks after two of Prince Harry’s aides met up with King Charles’ communications secretary Tobyn Andreae in London.

The informal meeting took place just a stone’s throw away from Buckingham Palace.

It is believed both the King and Harry gave permission for the aides to meet, but weren’t at the meeting themselves.

However, it is not known when the father and son last spoke to each other.
