Meghan Markle ‘against’ Prince Harry returning to Royal Family as 'too much bad blood’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s potential return to Royal duties is reportedly “out of the question”, despite Prince Harry’s recent visit to his home country, the UK.

A source close to Harry reportedly said last week that the Duke “would try” to assist if his father, King Charles III, requested his help.

It was also claimed that Harry has told pals he would temporarily take on a Royal role while Charles is unwell, following several “warm exchanges” since the King’s recent cancer diagnosis was made public.

But a royal commentator has shared his thoughts on the likelihood of Prince Harry returning to Royal duties.

He believes it’s “out of the question” for him and Meghan to resume their previous roles, especially after they stepped down as senior working royals in 2020 and relocated to California, USA.

Speaking to MailOnline, Richard Fitzwilliams commented on Harry’s recent UK visit.

He said it “wasn’t insincere in terms of wanting to see his family, but it’s absolutely out of the question they could resume royal duties while members of the royal family don’t trust them because of the way they have behaved”.

He added: “They seem to think that Harry might be interested in some form of activity during this tough time for the Royal family, with the King unwell and Catherine still recovering.”

Mr Fitzwilliams then imagined a scenario where Prince Harry resumed his Royal duties, saying: “It would turn into a bizarre spectacle as the global media would be all over it.”

This follows reports that Prince Harry is reportedly considering spending six months in the UK for a new royal role – but Meghan reportedly won’t let him.

Royal writer Tom Quinn told The Mirror: “Harry knows he can’t be a part-time working royal, splitting his time between the States and the UK.”

“The family doesn’t trust him anymore and Meghan is totally against it. There’s too much bad blood now for it to even be a slight possibility.”
