A new burger – the Big Arch – will be available to all customers at McDonald’s within the UK and Ireland. The Big Arch features two 100% British and Irish beef patties, white cheddar cheese slices, crispy onions, shredded lettuce, pickles and a new sauce. Thomas O’Neill, head of menu at McDonald’s UK&I, said: “A new iconic burger needs an equally iconic sauce, and we’ve taken it up a notch with the Big Arch.

“This isn’t just about size, it’s about flavour. With double layers of beef, crispy onions, and the hero of the build, our signature sauce, every bite is crafted to hit the spot to satisfy serious McDonald’s hunger.”

Mr O’Neill added that the new burger will be “big, bold and packed with serious deliciousness”.

All held together in poppy and sesame seed buns, the Big Arch will be available in restaurants for £7.99.

For an extra £2 (making it £9.99), the Big Arch Medium Meal will include fries and a drink.

Do note, however, that some restaurants across the country may have different pricing.

But people ordering on Deliveroo Plus, from now up until Sunday June 15, can get free chicken nuggets when they spend £15 between 11am and 5am.

The Big Arch will also be available on McDelivery, and customers can enjoy a free breakfast wrap if they spend £10 on the app from 11am daily until Sunday, June 8.

Another current offer is to spend £15 or more from 11am to bag yourself a free Big Mac burger.

A spokesperson from McDonald’s told The Sun: “We’re always evolving our menu with our customers in mind to keep things fresh and exciting.”

Right now, there’s the return (for a limited time only) of the McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot burger and the meaty Steakhouse Stack.

Meanwhile, the Chicken Bacon Caesar Wrap has been axed, as well as cheesy garlic dippers.

But there’s a hint that the wrap could return at some stage, as the spokesperson added that it’s been taken off the menu “for now”.
