McDonald’s is set to launch a new menu in days – including a never-before-seen McFlurry inspired by an iconic treat. Fans of the fast food chain will be able to tuck into its never-before-seen Jaffa Cake McFlurry. The dessert combines dairy ice cream swirled with chocolate-covered shortcake pieces and topped with orange sauce.
McDonald’s is also launching Sprite Zero with either Green Apple or Mango and passionfruit flavourings. The fast food giant says adding the syrup to your beverage will cost 40p extra. Both items are set to land in store on Wednesday, July 30. The Jaffa Cake McFlurry will cost £2.49 and be 331 calories and the Sprite Zero with syrup will be £2.19 (Medium) and six calories (Green Apple) or five calories (Mango and Passionfruit).
Returning to the menu are the Fajita Chicken One, with fajita sauce, tomato salsa, onions, cheese and lettuce in a toasted tortilla wrap with a choice of crispy or grilled chicken.
Also coming back are Chilli Cheese Bites in a crispy batter served with a Spicy Chilli dip and the Milky Way McFlurry – dairy ice cream swirled with milk chocolate stars and malt-flavoured pieces topped with a chocolate sauce.
Coming to Tyneside and Teesside areas is the Steakhouse Stack – two beef patties, cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions and lettuce served with a black peppercorn sauce, all in a toasted sesame-topped bun.
On the menu in East Anglia is the Big Tasty and Big Tasty with Bacon – a beef patty, (bacon), Emmental cheese, onions, tomatoes and a smoky sauce in a toasted bun.
Elsewhere in the UK (not Tyne and Tees or East Anglia) is the Chicken Big Mac – two chicken patties, cheese, lettuce, pickles and Big Mac sauce.
Staying on the menu longer are the Big Arch – two beef patties, white cheddar cheese slices, onions, shredded iceberg lettuce, pickles and Big Arch sauce in a poppy and sesame seed bun, and Frank’s RedHot Mayo Dip.
