Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford could soon be reunited with former boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after potential moves to AC Milan and Barcelona fell through. It initially appeared inevitable that the 27-year-old would be departing in the current transfer window, having not played a minute for United in any of their last nine matches.
In December, he also gave an exclusive interview to journalist Henry Winter, saying “the time was right” for him to leave his boyhood club.
However, despite interest from several clubs a move has not been forthcoming, with Rashford’s current £350,000-per-week wages appearing to be a stumbling block.
