A maniac repeatedly slashed a stranger who refused to give him cash on a Brooklyn train over the weekend, cops said. 

The suspect – who wore a black mask and bright-red puffer coat – approached the 25-year-old victim on board a northbound N train approaching 86th Street in Gravesend around 2:20 a.m. Saturday and demanded his wallet and some money, police said. 

When the victim did not comply, the perp slashed him multiple times in the head, face, back and knee, authorities said.

He snatched the victim’s wallet before fleeing the station on foot, cops said.  

The victim was taken to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, where he was listed in stable condition, cops said. 

Police are still looking for the alleged attacker, seen in surveillance footage leaving the station.

Footage released by the NYPD shows the suspect fleeing through the turnstile, with his hood pulled up and his mask covering all but his eyes.

The violent clash comes just days after a 14-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly stabbing a 65-year-old panhandler who begged him for cash on a Harlem subway platform, cops said.
