A 53-year-old man was beaten to death with a two-by-four inside a Queens park – with cops now looking for the fiend who carried out the Tuesday morning attack.

Police responded to Rufus King Park in Jamaica around 8:40 a.m. on reports of an assault and found the victim with severe trauma to the head, the NYPD said.

The unidentified man was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, according to the cops.

The assailant is believed to have grabbed the piece of wood from nearby pile of debris before attacking the victim, who allegedly knew the attacker, law enforcement sources told The Post.

Police have not released the identity of the victim and have not revealed a possible motive.

“This is a park I go to all the time,” resident Ami Mulbah told NBC-TV News. “It’s usually super safe. I’m actually quite shocked that there was a homicide.”

Another park regular, Gabriela Soto, told the outlet that she flagged down police earlier this summer after spotting a strange woman threatening park goers with a two-by-four.

“She was trying to just get someone,” Soto said.
