A Channel Four documentary captured the moment a group of men tried to take advantage of a “drunken” woman in the Spanish resort of Magaluf.

The resort is renowned as a party hotspot with its bars and clubs attracting thousands of revellers out for a good time.

However, Magaluf has also started to acquire a darker reputation for sexual violence against women.

Some 48 allegations of rape were filed with local police over the course of last year alone.

Ellie Flynn, a Channel Four journalist, went undercover in the party hotspot in order to discover more about the sinister side to the resort.

Pretending to be drunk, Ellie is filmed seemingly passed out on a sun lounger on a deserted beach at night.

A group of three men come across her, with one overheard to say “let’s go for it” after telling his mates that the woman is “wasted”.

Another asks Ellie if she wants to “kiss a little bit” as she is his “last chance”.

The three men are not identified in the footage, with their faces blurred and voices disguised.

In the documentary – Magaluf Undercover: Predators and Parties – Ellie and her team covertly film in clubs, on the strip and beach after dark.

They pose as drunk and underage to expose predatory behaviours in the party hotspot.

Ellie explained: “I go undercover in Magaluf – a party destination blighted by reports of sexual assault and rape – to expose the predatory underbelly of the tourist hotspot.

“We secretly film in clubs, on the strip and at the adjoining beach, after dark, with me and another member of the team pretending to be drunk or underage.

“Filmed across just three nights, I am followed, harassed, touched and targeted by men, who often appear to be working together in groups.”

The team also commissioned an independent survey which exposed shocking levels of sexual abuse and predatory behaviour on party holidays, the Manchester Evening News reports.

Almost one in 10 women reported experience of a sex act without consent, while 33 percent said they had been followed.
