Kensington Palace has confirmed that Princess Kate will greet the Amir of Qatar when he arrives for a state visit tomorrow.
The Princess of Wales will also attend the Horse Guards at Buckingham Palace and a private lunch with the Amir. She will not, however, attend the State Banquet.
