The M40 northbound was closed after a major crash caused a vehicle to overturn. Long queues of traffic were reportedly building in the area between junctions 10 and 11.
National Highways said: “The M40 in Oxfordshire is now CLOSED northbound between J10 (Ardley) and J11 (Banbury). This is due to a collision involving a vehicle which has left the road and come to rest on its roof. All emergency services are on scene.”
