There are long queues and 90-minutes of delays on the M4 following a crash. The incident happened today at J17 of the motorway westbound near Dauntsey in Wiltshire.
There is an ‘up and over’ closure, where traffic is diverted off and back onto the road, due to a collision involving a motorcycle.
All emergency services including Wiltshire Police are in attendance. National Highways Traffic Officers are also on scene to assist with traffic management.
If this closure is on a planned route, National Highways has urged drivers to allow extra journey time, re-route or even delay their journey.
