Motorists are facing travel chaos on the M3 this afternoon after a road sweeper overturned, causing a huge massive diesel spillage which in turn has caused huge delays along the route.
National Highways: South East posted on social media, with a spokesperson confirming: “New incident on the M3 westbound between J2 #M25 J12 and J3 #Bagshot #Surrey. Road closed due to an overturned road sweeper and large diesel spillage as a result. Expect delays. Further updates to follow.”
It is unknown whether there were any injuries as a result of the overturned vehicle.
