Drivers face massive delays after a multi-vehicle crash shut the M25 anti-clockwise in Essex between J30 (Thurrock) and J29 (Upminster) just after the Bell Common Tunnel.
National Highways said: “Traffic has been STOPPED on the M25 anti-clockwise in Essex between J30 (Thurrock) and J29 (Upminster) due to a multi-vehicle collision. All emergency services are in attendance. Long delays are building on approach.”
There were reports of queues forming to Enfield at J25, 24 miles away.
