Delays of up to 50 minutes are expected for drivers stuck in the build up of traffic near Junction 20 on the M1.
Long queues have formed on the motorway’s northbound stretch after a multi-vehicle crash near Lutterworth, with disruption stretching back onto the A14.
Reports suggest the road will not clear up until 3.30pm.
