Luke Littler’s hometown rugby club Warrington Wolves will honour the 18-year-old darts sensation by renaming their stadium for this month’s Super League opener. The Wire will switch out The Halliwell Jones Stadium for The Luke Littler Stadium when the Catalans Dragons visit on Friday, February 21.
Littler etched his name into darts folklore at the start of 2025 by thrashing Michael van Gerwen 7-3 to win the PDC World Championship.
At 17 years and 347 days old, he became the youngest-ever winner of the sport’s biggest prize, having fallen short against Luke Humphries in the 2024 final at the end of a magical debut run.
Littler has made no secret of his love for Warrington Wolves on social media during his meteoric rise to stardom.
