Luke Humphries triumphed on night four of the Premier League in Exeter, defeating reigning world champion Luke Littler in the final.

The world No.1 had looked shaky at times in the west country, with Humphries missing several match darts before finally taking the win during his opening match against Gerwyn Price.

There were more unforced errors during the semi-final win against Rob Cross, while Littler looked as if he was going to cruise to victory after the teen raced to a 3-1 lead in the final.

Speaking to Sky Sports after securing the win, Cool Hand revealed what he’d said to Littler during the pair’s post-match chat.

He explained: “I just said to him ‘I think this is the first time I’ve beaten you in the Premier League’.”
