What’s new, sugary and comes with a little bit of heat? Chick-fil-A’s new sandwich, apparently.
The restaurant is testing a Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich starting Monday at locations in Indianapolis, Ind. and Lexington, Ky.
According to company representatives, the sandwich includes grilled chicken, pepper jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, sweet and spicy pickle chips and bacon hand-tossed in brown sugar and pepper.
Chef Christy Cook created a maple brioche bun for the sandwich, inspired by a favorite flavor from her childhood.
“The sweetness of the maple syrup complements the smoky flavors of the grilled chicken and the hint of spice from the pepper jack cheese and pickles,” said Cook on the company’s website. “Perfect for enjoying on any summer adventure, we hope customers enjoy this latest take on our grilled chicken sandwich!”
The Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich will be available for a limited time at the Chick-fil-A locations in the two cities. It’s the company’s first time testing a grilled sandwich in four years. The last time a new grilled sandwich debuted at the restaurant was its 2019 Grilled Spicy Deluxe.
Chick-fil-A’s Spicy Chicken Biscuit goes worldwide
Chick-fil-A is also expanding where the Spicy Chicken Biscuit is served, now offering it worldwide. It is slated to become a permanent menu item at all Chick-fil-A restaurants, the company said.

Chick-fil-A’s Peach Milkshake returns
The restaurant is also offering something familiar but yummy for those looking to cool down this summer.
The company’s Peach Milkshake and the White Peach Sunjoy will return nationwide starting Monday.
The Peach Milkshake comes with Chick-fil-A’s Icedream dessert and peaches, whipped cream and a cherry.
“With each passing year, our Peach Milkshake’s loyal followers eagerly await its annual comeback,” said Leslie Neslage, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A. “Its arrival signifies the beginning of summer at Chick-fil-A, and this year, the excitement from our fans has inspired us to expand our peach offerings.”
The company said during the milkshake’s development, there were more than 15 versions of it.

The White Peach Sunjoy is made of lemonade and sweetened iced tea with white peach flavors.
And if neither of these drinks suit customers, the company said they can combine the white peach flavor with lemonade, frosted lemonade and iced tea.
