The body of a baby was found in a field in the Greater Manchester area, police said.
Emergency services rushed to Ravenscraig Road, near Ashtons Field in Little Hulton, a suburb of Salford, at about 1pm on November 20.
Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Service have confirmed their attendance at the scene, with the force set to hold a press conference at 5.30pm.
Eyewitnesses claimed to have seen large police presence and the entrance to Ashtons Field and the Linnyshaw Loopline taped off, Manchester Evening News reports.
A white forensic tent and a screen could also be seen in pictures from the scene.
