Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll’s life away from the Formula One grid is envy-inducing. The 26-year-old currently partners with the legendary Fernando Alonso on the track for his father Lawrence’s outfit.
The Canadian-born Stroll started karting at just four years old, and his focus was set on making driving his day job – this never shifted. Stroll was unveiled by Williams shortly after turning 18 and has developed into a seasoned driver renowned for his wet-weather efficiency.
Away from the pits, the F1 star and son of a billionaire’s life is as luxurious as one would expect. Express Sport dives into Stroll’s personal fortune, relationship with his father, Lawrence, and love life, including a pair of model ex-girlfriends and a ‘fling’ with a British TV presenter.
What is Lance Stroll’s net worth?
Through various endorsements and his hefty Aston Martin contract – estimated to be around £2.5million per year – Celebrity Net Worth believes that Stroll’s current net worth stands at roughly £40m.
Stroll’s life, and specifically his individual car collection, mirrors this staggering fortune. He reportedly owns a £290,000 Ferrari California and a Lamborghini Huracan. Yet, such a collection and net worth are dwarfed by his father.
In fact, according to The Sun, Stroll’s dad, Lawrence, owns a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO – one of the world’s most expensive cars, worth an estimated £40m, the equivalent to his son’s entire wealth. While Lance leads a life of luxury, it is, in part, thanks to his billionaire father.
How rich is Lance Stroll’s father?
According to Forbes, the Aston Martin F1 team owner and executive chairman of Aston Martin has a net worth of roughly £3billion. With roots in the fashion industry, Lawrence has swiftly amassed this unfathomable fortune.
His initial jump into F1 came in 2018, when he led a consortium of investors to purchase team Force India, rebranding it as Racing Point Force India.
Lawrence also led a consortium to invest in Aston Martin, and in 2020, he purchased a 16.7% stake in the company his son now drives for. One year later, he rebranded his team in their name and reintroduced them to the F1 field, with his son being handed a leading role.
Away from sport, the 65-year-old reportedly owns several superyachts to complement his aforementioned car collection, as well as multiple properties in Canada, London and Switzerland – where his son currently calls home.
Who has Lance Stroll dated?
Stroll initially sparked rumours of a relationship with British designer and TV presenter Kimberley Garner when they were snapped aboard a yacht in 2017.
While there was no confirmation of any romance, Italian model Sara Pagliaroli was reported to have been dating Stroll five years on. The pair first appeared together at the premiere of a James Bond film in 2021, but in 2023, it is thought they went their separate ways.
After this relationship, Stroll was pictured with Canadian model and singer Marilou Belanger, and the two shared photos of each other on the social media platform Instagram. However, in 2024, these pictures were deleted, and while it is unconfirmed, it appears that Stroll is currently single.
While Stroll hasn’t been too lucky in love, his sister Chloe is married to two-time Olympic-medal-winning snowboarder Scotty James. The pair tied the knot in May 2023 and announced in 2024 that they were expecting their first child.
