The Liberty aim to extend their winning streak at home as the reigning WNBA champions, the Las Vegas Aces, visit for a high-stakes Sunday afternoon game.

This marks the fourth and final meeting of the regular season between these teams, with the Liberty winning two of the first three matchups, including the Commissioner’s Cup final in late June.

Breanna Stewart and the Liberty are rolling, winners of three consecutive games, while A’Ja Wilson and the Aces are fresh off a loss in Minnesota on Saturday and are entering a grueling stretch of their schedule — with this being Las Vegas’ third game in four days.

Oddsmakers have tabbed the Liberty as slim 1.5-point favorites on the spread.

This head-to-head matchup always provides fireworks, featuring high-end talent and experienced competitors on both sides of the ball.

Liberty vs. Aces WNBA prediction, best bet

Las Vegas and New York boast two of the league’s most explosive offensive units, ranking third and fourth in scoring with 91.8 and 90.1 points per game, respectively.

Wilson’s 26.6 points per outing is the best in the WNBA, and she can be a nightmare to guard defensively.

She recorded 33 points and 10 rebounds in the Aces’ 104-99 win over the Liberty on July 30.

The Liberty counter with Stewart, the WNBA’s third-leading scorer at 21.6 points per contest, alongside the elite shot-making and facilitation of Sabrina Ionescu.

The Liberty will likely lean on Jonquel Jones to shadow Wilson, hoping her physical presence can knock the perennial MVP out of rhythm.

While the Aces boast an impressive 7-2 record against the spread following a defeat, Becky Hammon’s group is facing serious fatigue. After an overtime battle in Indiana on Thursday and a Saturday night game in Minnesota, they now head to Brooklyn for a quick turnaround and a midday tipoff.

The Liberty have also found their rhythm, securing six wins in their past seven outings, with their only stumble coming against Las Vegas on July 30.

With the rest advantage and revenge on their minds, they should start fast and secure another home win.

I expect the fresher and more rested Liberty to come out of the gates a bit faster and use motivation from its previous loss against Vegas to win.

THE PLAY: Liberty moneyline (-110, DraftKings)
