The bodies of a man and a woman have been found inside a flat in Leeds after police received reports of a missing person. Police visited the property in Dawlish Road on Tuesday evening after receiving the missing persons report for a woman.
West Yorkshire Police said in a statement that officers entered the address and found the bodies inside. A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Enquiries remain ongoing today (April 30) by detectives to determine the circumstances of what has occurred.”
Video circulating online shows a large blue forensics tent in the back yard of an end of terrace house and police guarding a cordon outside the property.
Media reports said locals woke to a large police presence in the neighbourhood.
