LeBron James revealed his multi-year partnership with Polymarket in September.

Dillon Brooks, a known nemesis of James, partnered with Kalshi to release a satirical and promotional ad on the NBA’s Opening Night. Brooks trolled James with a device, known as the “King Blocker 9000,” that is designed to block out mentions of the four-time NBA champion.

Dillon Brooks partnered with prediction market Kalshi to promote a satirical ad centered around LeBron James.

Brooks is seen sitting on the couch when another version of Brooks pops up on the screen in an infomercial.

“Are you tired of hearing about the greatest basketball player of all time?” Brooks said in the infomercial. “Where he goes? What team is he playing for this season? What ridiculous new product he’s endorsing? Then you need the King Blocker 9000, advanced technology that will mute any mention of (LeBron James).”

The feud between Brooks and James goes back to the 2021 season, when the former played for the Grizzlies and the latter played for the Lakers. During the game, James hit a clutch shot over Brooks and hit the “too small’ celebration.

In 2023, Brooks had a quote that didn’t age well as Memphis lost to the Lakers in the playoffs.

“He’s old,” Brooks said of James. “I poke bears, I don’t respect someone until they give me 40.”

In 2025, Brooks and James jawed back and forth at each other with the Suns guard calling the NBA’s all-time leading scorer a “social media junkie.” That same season, Brooks didn’t hold back on his opinion of James.

“(James) likes people that bow down, I don’t bow down, so that either entices him or aggravates him, either-or,” he said.

While Brooks still plays for the Suns, James has moved on to the east coast with the 76ers. The two rivals will face off Dec. 30 in Phoenix and Feb. 17 in Philadelphia.
